Nursing Staff
Our staff is concerned not only with residents’ medical needs but also their emotional, social, and spiritual needs. We believe in residents’ rights and dignity, and understand that each resident is a unique person deserving of respect.

We pride ourselves in being one of the few assisted living homes that have nurses on staff. Our nurses work together with staff, families, physicians and referral agencies, such as Care Wisconsin or Hospice, to provide the care necessary to maintain quality of life for our residents.

Our nursing staff provides training throughout the year. Care staff are trained about medications, diabetes, challenging behavior, first aid, individual service plans, and more.

At the director’s request, nurses participate in a new resident’s patient assessment, during which time the interdisciplinary team discusses if a resident is appropriate for a certain home. Efforts are made to have residents with similar needs and conditions in one home so as to provide the best care possible.
